Rebekah Conrad, MSW, C-IAYT - Supervisee in Social Work

Rebekah Conrad earned her Master of Social Work degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and is currently a Supervisee in Social Work completing supervised clinical hours toward licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has been a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) since 2022 and a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance (E-RYT 500) since 2010. She has also completed specialized clinical training in advanced trauma treatment, with an emphasis on trauma-informed, strengths-based approaches to understanding the impact of trauma.

With six years of experience in behavioral health, five years in yoga therapy, and two years in substance use treatment, Rebekah brings an integrative and trauma-informed perspective to her work with individuals navigating mental health and recovery. She is passionate about helping people develop a deeper understanding of themselves, reconnect with their strengths, and recognize that their struggles do not define them. Her approach incorporates mindfulness-based and holistic practices that honor the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit as part of the healing and growth process.

For Rebekah, healing at the root means having the courage and support to look beneath the surface—to understand the experiences, beliefs, wounds, and patterns that have shaped us rather than simply managing the symptoms they create. Lasting freedom means being able to live from a place of choice rather than being governed by old patterns, fear, shame, or past experiences. It is the freedom to respond to life with greater awareness and intention while moving toward the person and life you want to become.

Outside of work, Rebekah enjoys spending time in nature, practicing yoga, traveling, and exploring spirituality and mindfulness. She is continually interested in the ways we can cultivate greater meaning, connection, and wholeness in our lives.
