One phone call. A team who listens. A path forward built around you.
Reaching out is often the hardest part. From the moment you call, our admissions team meets you with warmth, patience, and clarity — no pressure, no judgment. Just a real person, ready to help you find the next right step.
Call, email, or submit an online request. Our admissions team will gather initial information and answer your questions.
Admissions may ask about current needs, substance use history, safety concerns, withdrawal risk, treatment history, insurance, transportation, housing needs, and scheduling availability.
If insurance is being used, our team will verify benefits and review coverage information whenever possible.
If someone is currently in a hospital, detox, residential program, PHP, IOP, OP, or another treatment setting, clinical records must be sent for review prior to admission. Referral partners may fax clinical records to 540-402-1677.
If Conscious Healing appears appropriate, admissions will help schedule the next step for admission and services. If another level of care is needed first, our team will help identify an appropriate referral pathway, such as detox, residential treatment, inpatient care, emergency care, or another community provider. Conscious Healing will work with you to set up appropriate transportation, if required.
Once the admission process is complete, participants begin the appropriate service track, which may include PHP, IOP, OP, ASAP-related services, individual counseling, case management, continuing care, or recovery support.

Conscious Healing provides outpatient substance use disorder treatment. Participants must meet ASAM level-of-care criteria for the services requested and be appropriate for a community-based outpatient setting. When a higher or mental-health-primary level of care is needed first, admissions will help identify an appropriate referral pathway.
Every situation is unique. Our admissions team reviews each inquiry with care and, when we’re not the right fit, helps identify a pathway that is.
We welcome referrals from hospitals, detox programs, residential providers, outpatient providers, probation and parole, ASAP programs, CSBs, medical providers, therapists, community organizations, and recovery partners.
To support a timely review, please send available clinical records and referral information.

Some participants benefit from treatment while living in a structured recovery environment. Conscious Healing partners with Homes Empowering Recovery as a recovery housing option for participants engaged in services, when housing is available and appropriate.
Recovery housing is optional and based on availability, eligibility, and individual need.

No. Conscious Healing is not a detox program. Individuals experiencing withdrawal or needing medical withdrawal support may need detox, emergency care, or another higher level of care before outpatient treatment.
If you are in immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, call or text 988.
Conscious Healing may not be appropriate when someone needs detox from any substance, residential treatment, inpatient psychiatric care, emergency stabilization, or a mental-health-primary level of care before outpatient SUD treatment. Admissions also reviews ASAM level-of-care fit, safety needs, medical stability, medication compliance, pregnancy-related considerations, legal/safety factors, ability to participate in group-based outpatient care, ability to perform ADLs, and the use of prescribed, non-prescribed, or potentially addictive substances that may require clinical review and approval on a case-by-case basis.
Yes. Participants must meet ASAM level-of-care criteria for the service being requested, such as PHP, IOP, OP, or ASAP-related services.
Participants must be able to perform activities of daily living, also called ADLs, independently or with supports that can be safely managed outside of Conscious Healing. Individuals who need a higher level of daily care may need another placement or service first.
