Carly Cline, CSAC Supervisee

Carly Cline is a counselor at Conscious Healing with experience supporting individuals navigating substance use, mental health concerns, and the challenges that often accompany recovery. She earned an associate degree in General Studies from Germanna Community College and a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Old Dominion University. She is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work at Walden University.

Carly is passionate about helping people better understand themselves and recognize that their past experiences do not have to determine their future. Her approach emphasizes honesty, self-awareness, accountability, and compassion while creating a space where participants can feel supported without judgment. She believes recovery is not simply about stopping substance use, but about understanding the patterns and experiences beneath it, rebuilding confidence, developing healthier ways of coping, and creating meaningful change.

For Carly, healing at the root means looking beyond symptoms and behaviors to understand the emotions, experiences, patterns, and unmet needs underneath them. She believes lasting freedom means reaching a place where the past no longer controls the choices a person makes for their future and having the skills, support, and confidence to continue moving forward.

Carly hopes participants at Conscious Healing feel seen, respected, and supported while also being challenged to grow. Her goal is for each person to leave treatment with a stronger understanding of themselves, practical tools for recovery, and greater confidence in their ability to build a life that feels meaningful and worth protecting.

Outside of work, Carly enjoys spending time with her family, continuing her education, and finding ways to bring creativity and balance into everyday life.
